On June 3rd the World lost the founder of organized Armwrestling. 52 years ago Bill Soberanas held the first organized event in Petaluma. In 1962 the World Wristwrestling Championships became a household subject. For 16 years the Championships was televised on ABC's "Wide World of Sports" bringing armwrestling into homes alll over the World. Bill Soberanes passed away in his sleep at the age of 83.
